The Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) is an annual international scouting and guiding activity in which scouts and guides communicate with each other over the internet every third full weekend in October.

During JOTI, thousands of Scouts from all over the world meet and communicate with each other over the Internet, using web browsers, e-mail, chat programs, microphones, scanners and digital cameras.

JOTI provides an excellent opportunity to meet Scouts and Guides from many countries and other parts of New Zealand.

You will have a most enjoyable time offering your hand of friendship to those you meet during JOTI.

The Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) is held at the same time as JOTI, but it is an amateur radio/scouting activity. Scouts and Guides can combine JOTA with JOTI activities.

Find out about JOTA by going to the New Zealand Scouting website, http://www.scouts.org.nz/ and click on "JOTA" in the "Activities" section in the home page main menu.
